The owner of Mid-MN Spray Foam contacted me to create a logo and stationery items for their new company. The design brief was clear: the logo needed to represent both warm and cold conditions, reflect the company's Minnesota roots, and convey a modern, fun, yet professional look.
I began the design process by creating multiple variations of the logo, each incorporating different design elements. This allowed me to present the client with a diverse range of options to help determine the direction they preferred for their brand. I selected a blue and orange color palette to emphasize the contrast between cold and hot elements.
I refined the selected logo by updating the orange color to match the client’s preference and increasing the thickness of the tagline text for better visibility.
